Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

I'll continue to respect the wishes of private property/business owners but piss on the government. I hear that our POS county mayor is having a conniption fit because people are ignoring his mask mandate at the county building.
Hopefully the ass hole continues to be upset that the peasants tell him to piss off. Just as it should be.

When he didn't get his way trying to steal land for a new green-way he announced he wouldn't run for another term. Commissioners have been openly telling him to F-off in meetings for awhile so 1 more year and that POS is history.

You said theoretically half way through the conversation. You forgot to cover yourself for wiggle room the first half.
lol...I'm not the one in need of wiggle room.
You made the blanket statement that you are not responsible for others' safety and then Hog willingly jumped on board.
I was simply showing that your statement (and Hog's agreement) was incorrect.

Ah but those rules were given by our leaders and endorsed by the majority so doesn't that make them "right" even if they were not grounded in science? Further, is not following said rules a societal violation?
I told you I adhered to the rules of each county.
Same with states. I'm thrilled GA was a state that had a full year of athletics.

Perfect.

I like the fact that I, as someone who is vaccinated, need to continue to wear a mask and social distance for the protection of those around me who have chosen not to be vaccinated. It makes me feel very virtuous and superior in almost every way to protect those who aren’t of capacity to protect themselves.

Appointment to get my vaccine this Thursday...its been real and its been fun..its just not been real fun conversing with you all over the years

the rules can't all be grounded in science therefore if one's obligation is to protect others by following the science then changing behavior to match changing rules is not following the science to protect others
Sure, it's the interpretation of the current science, and the need to further study that are the issues.

It's like when people disagreed on the science related to the dangers of smoking.
And just as then, there will obviously be "motivations" to interpret the science in a particular way.
