I have a hard time laughing at the kid. Butch and Beldar broke him throwing him to the wolves behind those godawful 2017-18 offensive lines. He has a football form of PTSD. His future was sacrificed on the altar of our crappy coaching.

3 years tops. These guys make way too much money for a five year window. You can either win or you can’t.

To the extent that viewpoint was ever realistic, it is not realistic in our program's current posture with the post-Beldar roster fallout and looming sanctions. It'll be Year 3 at least before Heupel is on a recruiting playing field that is even equal to the one that existed Pruitt or Butch's first day on the job.
