The Atlanta Braves

Was Pache ready to play everyday with his bat? Probably not. Was not bringing back Duvall at a cheap $5M an absolute all time move so we didn’t have to rush Pache? Absolutely.

Geez Louise boys, what do y’all see in him lol? I don’t get it. If we wasn’t fast and a above average CF, he would have JAG written all over him. The chance of him hitting at the MLB level is incredibly slim at any point in his life.

He had a wRC+ of 134 at AA at 20 years old and .329 BABIP so it wasn’t Drew Waters level of luck. He had about 25 plate appearances of non Brave prospect live pitching last year. And every single scouting report has said his value will come from his defense. It’s ridiculous to give up on him.

What? You can’t be serious. How many elite prospects have we had to eat the last 7 years? The next ballsy move this front office makes will be the first. That’s bad.

Name me the last top 20 overall consensus hitting prospect that the Braves had and was a dud

You don’t trade guys with his talent, especially if you’re a team that doesn’t have a huge payroll like the Braves

Big whoop. Where’s the meat? Who gives about defense man? Small ball sucks. Give me someone who can mash and not be hero on defense.

Name me the last Braves top 20 hitting prospect that was pedestrian at the plate in the minor leagues? He is so high because his defense is OVERVALUED

Ole Scott would have been banging the table to trade Andruw when he had a 90 OPS+ through his first 600 plate appearances

There was a really good prospect, was a defensive first SS, highly ranked prospect was quickly moved through the system and never had an OPS over .800 in the minors for a full season. Francisco Lindor turned out pretty good.

Now name me the other 987,476 that didn’t turn out like Lindor.

Do u really think there is a chance Pache turns into Lindor? Come on man!
