Mine turns 6 this year....I dread this day with a passion. I will kick a disrespecting boyfriend's and his dad's ass lol.

Oh, if only it were that easy. Your daughter is very likely to be an emotional being and thus the male go to of kick an ass will likely make you feel better but cause damage to your relationship with you daughter. You have to point out that he doesn't call you names and tell you to fix him a sammich because he loves you and that is just his way of flirting. You have to subtly point out all the ways he is a giant douche, stop her from seeing him so he further reveals his doucheness, and let her come to the conclusion that he is a douche and will likely always be a douche all on her own.

Prepare yourself for some silent treatment. What I don't tell her is that I love a nice silent 15-20 minute car ride with nothing but the music and thoughts of nothing to occupy by head.

My wife and I just found out a couple weeks ago that our first child due in July is a girl. We did a small gender reveal with our parents and a few friends over zoom. When I saw the pink confetti I hugged my wife and as we were hugging I said “She’s not dating until she’s 25 and I need to buy a shotgun.” She laughed and asked why I needed a shotgun on top of the guns we already had. I told her to listen to this song and she would understand 😂

agree....is capacity the only negative to LNS?.If so, I can't really believe that couldn't be overcome

I take it you've never been there. Go. Then get back with us who have gone about its merits. Unless you knock down buildings or remove train tracks there's nothing that can be done. Parking is fun as well. Probably #11 to #13 in terms of ranking for ballparks in the SEC.

To not want to use a new minor league quality ballpark with 3-4 times the capacity within walking distance of campus would be dumber than dumb.

Off campus stadiums suck. Not an upgrade IMO. No matter the "bells and whistles"

So walking to Neyland from the Ag campus is OK, but walking from campus to a downtown ballpark is not even with the distance being the same? Wonder what the thousand + students living across the river off Chapman Highway think about that?

C'mon.

actually, yes I have been there numerous times even tho it has been a few years....Delmonico era....never did see it filled to capacity. Well aware of the restrictions of RR tracks.

I have never been accused of nor have I ever claimed to be smarter than the average bear so I can accept being dumber than dumb if it makes you feel superior in some way.

I was under the impression that the new proposed stadium was in the area of the old RR salvage building/lots. That seems to be a bit farther than "convenient".

Hmmm. Has the potential to change a team dramatically. Maybe less "rebuild" years for some programs if they get a bunch of good transfers. Like Arkansas and Alabama this year in Basketball.
We need three great transfers to be competitive. QB, DT, LB (well, maybe two of those).

I’m sold on Byron Young being a really solid contributor this fall. Seems to be getting steady buzz from players and coaches.

Nothing beats the buzz I recall Cordarelle Patterson got, when players were ending their summer breaks early to see 7-on7s with him out there. But Young does nonetheless seem to be getting some nice buzz...

Perhaps he can be good for a few key sacks! Time will tell...

It was apparent two weeks in, that there was no answer for Derek Barnett.
