I just realized the best part of a new Samsung is using Bixby Vision on your spouse. Basically, it looks at an object using your phone's camera and finds comparable images...so if you want to find out what sort of plant or shoes you're looking at, done. The first time I had the camera aimed at my cat...then suddenly tons of photos of cats that look just like mine appeared. Amazing!

So then I aimed it at my wife, who is half Venezuelan and half Tennessean...then the images appeared...nothing but K-Pop girls and boys popped up

It was already in motion. It's great that UT and the players get involved with kids. A lot of it's behind the scenes, but some of our players are active in the community and local schools without any press for their good work. We hear more about the Aaron Beasleys than the Harrison Baileys.

Would be nice if they reported on some of this stuff. UT could always use some good PR.

They seem to ensure no PR. John Adams always comes to mind. The guy is a complete douche nozzle and I make sure to never click on an article that could be his.

We'll take all the high character, highly ranked kids we can get. If the coaches can portal in some plug-and-play guys, they will.

It wasn't Flowers-- but it has been an eventful spring.

One thing to remember is that these wounds are especially painful for us because we watch closely, but those outside the sports world, and Tennessee sports world in particular rarely even hear about it until well after the fact.

These things happen at most programs (maybe not kitten killing lol) but it never hits our radar.

Another reason I hate Knoxville media. They are in the tear down business.

The absolute worst - and not just with UT stuff. They spend minimal time on local events, people and stories that are uplifting. So much good stuff going on around the area and they just ignore it for a news report on a Facebook post somebody made in Michigan. Or they do the Chuckles hour spent talking about and amongst themselves and how cute they they think they are. Disgusting. I quit KNS years ago. I quit Sports Animal. I am quitting local TV news now. They are just a pointless waste of time. What I want or need to know I get from web sources.

I don't follow much Knoxville media. Some of them do seem to have an ax to grind. I can't remember when it started-- at the end of the Dooley debacle? With Butch? Josh Dobbs and Trey Smith have been the only UT players they reported much about outside football.

I wish the Swamp Rat was back on the radio. He was black-balled because he had positive things to say about Tennessee football and other s UT sports. I can not dig deep enough to listen to the current ports media people in the Knoxville. I will listened to the EA show when possible, but the rest of them can go off the air and never be missed.

My original thoughts of 7-8 wins are quickly draining with each lost linebacker. Ugh.

For once would be nice to have all go right in Y1 to get the ball rolling. But that isn't allowed in this alternate universe. I want to go rejoin the one from the 90s...man I bet we're still winning big in that universe.

I did some dumb things as a youngster, but even then had remorse for them. As I matured, the remorse eventually led and prevented the dumb things. As long as there is a functioning conscience, there's hope, but how we treat the helpless is one of the stronger indications of what we are underneath the skin.

When I was at UT in the 80s, this would not have even made the back page of The Daily Beacon.

He is getting a free ride and representing the University. Acting like an adult , standards of ethical and moral conduct do not change over time. It should be the same today as it was 20,50 or even 100 years ago.

I sent an email-- the team's already on it. They're putting together a package and will try to get him on campus-- maybe for the O&W game, depending on COVID. If not, then in the fall. UT usually does a good job on stuff like this.

Well it’s not to hard to refrain from following and assisting buddies to assault a drug dealer in his room and steal is illegal merchandise while your Dad is in the hospital near death. Sorry but maybe Salter should be at the hospital supporting family. He doesn’t get a pass from me for what he did.
