I always question when someone says "fair". Fair to whom? I dont think anybody disagrees that corps need to pay taxes.
The tax code is so overburdening and so many loopholes the Bezos, Buffets and Gates escape from a personal perspective, and doubt their death tax will be erroneous a a multiple gen farmer.

The people who share your opinion that a wall is needed have already decided a wall by itself is not enough. You're out on an island of thought all alone.
Your second paragraph is worse than the first. Government has failed to deincentivize people from coming here illegally so government will now create the solution. Good luck with that. I still care about spending...which is the island I and a few others inhabit.

It’s all risk/reward. As long as illegal immigrants see a bigger reward than risk they are going to keep coming. That’s why I say send everybody back ASAP to their country of origin when caught. Send them via military transport. Do it immediately. If they didn’t declare asylum in Mexico then they aren’t after asylum they are after America.

The issue comes when it’s Mexican nationals declaring asylum. This is their first safe country so that has to be dealt with by international law. And Mexican nationals are by far the largest amount of illegals. And if they don’t request asylum then don’t consider it and send their asses back.
