But they lost to BYU!!

....that went 11-1 with a QB that would probably be the #1 overall pick in the NFL draft if it weren’t for Trevor Lawrence.

are we really still having this conversation?

I guess. Everyone is still conversing about all the opt outs even though it's already been pointed only 2 we're POTENTIAL starts

UCF avg. 43 points a game last which is an avg of 6 td a game. If you was to take a full 2 td a game away from that stat and apply it to our offense last year looking at 3 to 4 more wins. His offense could decline 2 td a game and still be better than anything we have put on the field the last 4 years that is just how bad we have been.

Go and take a look at the records of the teams UCF played while Heupel was coach.

It's not hard to score on bad teams. We aren't going to see a 1-to-1 translation of UCF's scoring at UT.

We didn’t do it against bad teams either. And does Cincy qualify as said “bad team”? 🤔

Yea but he was able to have the same production at Missouri. The fact that he has proven he can run his offense in this conference is enough proof to cancel that out. The fact that he is coming back to something rather than coming to something new should help him a lot.

Not when he was OC in 2016 they didn't

In 2017 Missouri's offense only put up numbers on bad teams, similar to what he was doing at UCF

In 2017 Missouri didn't beat a team with a winning record:

Missouri State 3-9
Idaho 4-8
Uconn 3-9
Florida 4-8
Tennessee 4-8
Vanderbilt 5-7
Arkansas 4-8

It's been the same story each season, Heupel's offense puts up big numbers against bad teams.

Dooley came into Missouri in 2018, and did more with Drew Lock and the Missouri offense, than Heupel did in 2017.
