Oof. Not sure if you all saw the young Tennessee fan who was “transferring” teams. Our football program was the only one to not give him a call or mail a letter according to an Ubben headline I just read.

Why would we send some snotty loser quitter a letter begging him to stay?

So Buckeyes thinks if he commits there one of their upperclassmen who might have otherwise been one of their presumed starters will transfer. So if we do this right we trade HT to Al Washington for one of his presumed starters. I think LA said HT and Washington had a good relationship. Anyway, I don;t have any hard feelings. I would have loved to have held on to him and I would have loved to have gotten Washington when we were trying to hire him but whatever happens it's not the end of the world. I hope HT is successful and ends up an early round draft pick. I'm a fan. jmo.

Good. Calling kids and begging them to continue being fans would be a new low for a program that loves finding new lows.

Because something tells me a bunch of players who love TN and sing Rocky Top all night long isn't going to be enough for those fans after we lose to Bama, UGA, and Florida by 60+ combined.

I want players who are good. I don't care how they feel about Tennessee. If our coaching is actually elite and not all talk like it was under Pruitt, they won't leave and we won't have to have this conversation anyway, so what difference does it make?

Umm, when we were beating everyone routinely, those players loved Tennessee.

The mercenaries are the first to bolt or give up because giving your all isn’t important.

So eff that noise!
