I posted this in the bball forum. Gary Parrish has said for several years now that Brad Stevens and Billy Donovan got burned out with recruiting and love their offseasons. Stevens even recently publicly said that he is not interested in coaching college again.

Ummm. Beard was thr HC at TX Tech before this move. Never coached for Barnes.

I mean, he ain't no alpha yet...no HS player incoming just gets that title for free. Jennings earned it as have numerous others. Salter needs to earn it too. Every highly recruited HS kid is an "alpha" at their small pond, but this is the big waters now.

He and his 3 amigos have already crapped in their beds in less than 3 months. They have a lot of making up to do before they see the field. I hope they have the wisdom and strength to do what is expected of them.

I mean I knew a bonafided insider, DK Jr. actually lived at his home during summers. He was an alumni, donor, & host for DK but even when he knew stuff he'd always give it to me with a "but that could change" disclaimer.

Mostly I just kept stuff he said in the back of the mind and when I'd see him I'd give him **** if he was wrong or give him props if he was right. The biggest "scoop" he gave me was when he told me DK wouldn't suit up for UT again, waaaaaay early I didn't share it cause it wasn't my place.
