President Joe Biden will display transgender flags at the White House on Wednesday to celebrate Transgender Day of Visibility, according to an official.

“Imagine being a trans kid and feeling seen by the highest office in the land. And not just seen, but loved and cared for,” she wrote on social media.

Biden also released a statement Wednesday to celebrate Transgender Day of Visibility.

“Transgender Day of Visibility recognizes the generations of struggle, activism, and courage that have brought our country closer to full equality for transgender and gender non-binary people in the United States and around the world,” Biden’s statement read.

Well that's a good thing, however, I don't have a problem with drivers of electric cars being taxed in some way. They use roads, cause wear and tear, and contribute to congestion and pollution just like anyone else driving a vehicle.

Of course, I was joking about political extermination, but to be honest except for the offense to the office, it would just be another political rodent retired. By definition I see anyone running for political office or one of the clingers (like a cabinet member) as unfit for the job for a number of reasons. While we have a "representative" form of government, people who run for office are generally too egotistical to listen to those they represent - they aren't there to listen or represent; they are there to push their agenda and mostly to satisfy the ultimate power trip. Secondly this administration has more misfits than any in history, and good ole Pete is just one of many. None seem to have the experience for the position, and at least half seem to be made up of people who society would have kept "safe" in better times - think the ugly moron in a dress thinking he's a she. Sorry, but if it can't figure that one out, then it has no business trying to direct policy at any level. You select people for a job based on experience. The best person for the job - not to represent all the different clown acts in a circus. A person who can't figure out the basics shouldn't be handed the keys to something more challenging.

How bad will likely be determined by who is leading. It could go from a world apology tour like we've seen before to "come and get it if you can". I'm guessing it will happen during a weak liberal administration built of American guilt. Guilt not as recognition of past fiscal irresponsibility, but guilt over past American exceptionalism. The real guilt - that of driving a thriving country and economy into a hole won't be acknowledged.

I'd bet you are right on worldwide suffering. Our default will either spark depression and financial collapse around the globe or a great reset.

I don't think economists have the answer. Don't bet against it being left to the military ... which hopefully would be up to the task if they can get out of their uniform redesign business long enough and manage to keep some Swiss Army knives flying.

Our current Commander and Chief is celebrating transgender visibility day, today. Other days he hopes he can walk up stairs. Hopefully we can put off any military action until the next admin.

According to a reporter on Kudlow, it will be about 25% infrastructure..

But the tax increases going form 21% to (in some cases) 68%.

Issue is the math doesnt even work out to 15 years.

A quarter of 232 billion (current corporate tax revenue) is not even 60 billion a year. Over 15 years that's not even a trillion, 870 billion. So we need another 1.13 trillion from the "rich", which is an extra 75 billion a year from the rich. Which would be about a 12% increase in their tax revenue. Which goes well beyond a minor bump.

And of course s McDad will surely want to point out the correlation between increased tax rates and increased tax revenue is not 1:1. It is often negative, meaning people find ways to claim less income to avoid paying more taxes. The best at that are the rich, which is who the tax is targetting. So yeah that gets passed to the rest of us pretty fast.

Not totally against this because we really do need to invest in our aging infrastructure..and these are the kind of projects that can spur economic growth and decent paying jobs...but didn't Obama also have some sort of plan like this?
