Gun control debate (merged)

I would have agreed 10 years ago, but DeWalt quality went to crap since then, Milwaukee has lapped them in quality over the last 10 years.
I beat dewalt tools every day and there’s no quality problems. I did burn up the Milwaukee impact driver given to me by the Milwaukee Rep. it lasted about 8 weeks

all joking aside if I had not already bought everything in dewalt I’d be buying Ridgid tools.
Lifetime warranty on everything including batteries.

That’s crazy
Wow I didn’t know that. And yeah I’ve got all dewalt too and with all the life support equipment it’s hard to switch.

I even bought adapters first the old 18V stuff to run on 20V

The flex volt has eliminated any corded tools from my box.
I’ve got a corded impact wrench, dewalt yes, which I’m attached to. And circular saws kill batteries. If I’m not using the chop saw and I’m using a circular saw at any real level it’s still corded. I’ve got a cordless one for quick work I really like. Yes... dewalt.

I’ve started replacing the corded stuff with Ridgid. I had an old 10 in compound slider that I use for smaller trim jobs. It’s 10 years old and died recently. They actually let me register it and they’re fixing it. It was the only Ridgid tool I owned. I now have a mortar mixer, a 12 inch compound slider and a table saw.
