President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

They've been around Reelfoot Lake in the NW corner of TN for years. They are majestic. One flew over my house last year and that was a first for me...I am in southern middle TN.
I've noticed way more outside of Reelfoot over the last 5-10 years in WTN. Pretty cool to see one in person; photos don't do them justice about how damn big they are.

Also, anyone going to Reelfoot should definitely eat at Bluebank if they are still open. Best catfish I've ever had.

DHS says DOUBLE the number of migrants could cross the southern border this year: More photos show kids in rafts on the Rio Grande while WH announces Kamala Harris will use 'diplomacy' to try and stem the crisis

  • Department of Homeland Security statistics show the number of migrants crossing the border could double this year to 500,000 to 800,000
The White House has also said Kamala Harris will be using 'diplomacy' with South and Central American countries to try and find the 'root cause' of the crisis that has seen a surge in migrant children being taken into Border Patrol custody.

Republican Senator Marsha Blackburn is also demanding to know why the Biden administration is spending $86.9million to house 1,200 migrant families in hotel rooms.

A new 'caravan' of migrants was also spotted in Honduras preparing to cross into Guatemala to start making their way north towards the United States.

And Symone Sanders, a spokesperson for Harris, told reporters last week that 'the vice president is not doing the border' but 'dealing with the root causes of migration.'

Harris has not announced a trip to the border and has not given a public press interview about her new role.

Border Patrol has Released 30,000 Directly Into US since January

MCALLEN, Texas — Approximately 30,000 people who illegally crossed the southern border and were taken into federal custody have been released into the United States since January as facilities for detaining migrants reach unprecedented overcapacity, according to the former top border official under the Trump administration.

Mark Morgan, the former acting commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection, told the Washington Examiner on Tuesday that the releases have been directly from Border Patrol and that people were not transferred to Immigration and Customs Enforcement, where families can be held for up to 20 days. Morgan said he was given the information by officials at the agency.

I've heard the eagle population's decrease wasn't related to DDT as promoted in some lady's book. Wonder if anyone else has insight on that as well?

Regardless, really great to see the population increasing. I have seen them in my area a few times over the last 5 years. Had never seen them until recently.

Well you know how it is with environmentalists (like liberals) something is always wrong and they've got the answers and more importantly the "fixes". The media been pumping a newer one lately - that due to some kind of environmental plastic disaster, semen count and the associated distribution equipment in US males is shrinking. I hate to tell them but the advent of cellphones and texting is probably a bigger factor - "communication" of all sorts is a lost art these days. They may be on to something, but I'd first think they need to look at what is being fed to crops and animals that become our food. Our "scientific" community has developed a bad habit (like the judicial system) of deciding on a culprit and setting out to prove it instead of looking into all factors.

Nailed it. Unprecedented, at least from my memory of 30 years in business.

I recently saw a headline about the stopped up Suez Canal, associated shipping problems, and over dependence on globalism. It's been obvious to anybody who thinks much about globalism vs nationalism, but just maybe this is a wakeup call we needed. It will still take at least a painful decade to unravel the stupidity that globalists put into play, and that's very much dependent on government and union strategies ... hoping they won't kill the goose laying the golden eggs ... again.

Send. Them. Back. To. Mexico.
It should really be that simple.
Actually no it should be more painful than that. Put them on a plane and send them back to their country of origin. Then they have to walk it aaaaaaaalllllllll over again. That would be money well spent.

And don’t send them commercial. Load them up on C-130’s and fly their asses back in jump seats.
