Drew update:

Radiation and chemo is over...
Drew’s cancer has not shrunk. It remains inoperable. He’s pretty feeble but focused. Fluid on his brain. Possible the shunt has malfunctioned. They are moving back home. Deflated obviously. But have felt as if this was the expectation all along. My brother and SIL will introduce various palliative care and unorthodox treatments. There’s still some fight to be had. And he is willing.

Please pray for my sweet nephew. And keep your eyes fixed on Jesus as we approach Good Friday. One week. Hey, but it didn’t end there... did it?
This is awful.... Praying for him.

done.

Key words in my post - "underneath coverages" and "could stand to lose 10 to 15". An average TE runs a 4.7 - 4.9 40. He can do that range. He would need S help over top like most Mikes/ILB's.

Naw, he will just blow them up within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage. Don’t have to run too fast when standing over your decimated coverage assignment...no drags or slants anywhere near him. 🤠

I guess that answers who the unnamed minor was a couple of weeks ago when the other guys were named in the arrest. We just can't seem to have good things around here. Hopefully, these guys learned a valuable lesson and will continue to contribute to this team going forward.

I hope that CJH introduces them to the stairs at Neyland. Run the stairs (all of them) 10x total and write an essay on General Neyland.
Suspension ended.

They embarrassed the new coaching staff and their teammates, but really that’s it. Time to move on. Get them back quickly...

So sorry to read your update this morning. Continued prayers for Drew, his parents, and all your family.

I know, seems silly. But with Hype’s fast paced O it makes sense. Tracks their measurable and output each practice. I’m aware of it being used in college soccer. Players are inspired to outperform and coaches know when they are slacking. He wants the O to tire out the Opposing D and our D to not get exhausted due to quick change of possession and late game fatigue..

Don’t care about our defense getting tired with potential quick change of possession in a hurry up?... Lost a lot of games the last few years on the 2nd half not due to an up tempo O but an inept O... same potential results...
