I watched some Loyola highlights vs Illinois since I didn’t get to watch the game. I remembered their previous run they played team basketball to perfections. They run so much of their offense around their big men. He is fantastic. It reminded me of Grant Williams and Fulky end of last yr. when Barnes offenses really roll is when the big men is at top of the key and offense is able to play off him. Grants in particular reminded me of what I was watching. The ability to pass, drive, shoot, post up and soft touch and putbacks. We didn’t have that this yr with Fulky struggling and hurt. We also didn’t have that true pG like bone that would push tempo like Barnes wanted. Springer and Vescovi were allergic to running fast tempo for some reason

Old guys first cars. Mine was a 65 Ford pickup with 3 on the tree. Sold it for $150 and a 16 guage shotgun.

1971 Chevy Camaro. 350 4 bolt main, 4 barrel Holley carb, racing cam, dual exhaust. Paid $2,000. For it.

Insurance cost me $2,000 per year to keep it. 😂
Cost me most of my work money for insurance, gas and upkeep... pretty much couldn’t afford to date...car kept me in trouble and out of trouble too. 😁

I’ll be interested to see what type of offense English runs at George Mason. Wonder if it will have a Barnes flavor or be more drive and kick and chuck up a lot of 3s.

Does losing English hurt us with any recruits? Any candidates as front runners for his replacement?

It's a great hire. Sad to see him go, but he was always going to be a head coach.

Let's hope he finds a way back to Knoxville after some experience.
I am worried he was behind most of our uptick in recruiting. Will be interesting to see how his leaving impacts that.
