Yes they were all linked in together at one point in order to stay together. Very advanced technique.

This tourney is why college basketball is now 10x more entertaining than boring and predictable college football, dominated as it is by a small handful of super teams

In this tourney you throw out all the big name coaches and hot shot recruits and just play ball. Anything can happen.

Smart had a good roster since arriving, still sucked. We had a ****** roster when Barnes showed up, but what did he do? Made us ****ing good again. Comparing Smart to Barnes is the dumbest **** you can do.

This all day. I actually want Gonzaga to win it. Small school with a good HC.

I felt this was their year anyhow, but this Covid year has solidified that.

It’s takes a lot of time together and cohesion throughout the year to get these young one and done teams together and Covid protocols have made that near impossible, which is why I’ve said and it is being seen that Senior led teams have a huge advantage this year under the circumstances.

I think Barnes is a good coach and also think he’s overpaid. But you prob gonna have to overpay to be relevant if you’re at a school who doesn’t have the bball history of success...

Barnes may not be that guy for a championship but he is the guy that has built a foundation to make us relevant when we could have been left for dead. He also is building a foundation which makes this program very attractive for the next guy as well. Let’s not pull a Fulmer....

Both Bruce and Rick has put in the ground work to take it to the next level imo. Rick has shown you can recruit here and they we're willing to pay top dollar. I'd imagine this job would be pretty attractive compared to say the football team

I like Barnes as HC here. My post wasn’t supposed to be for firing him, just that paying him top 5 money isn’t gonna net you top 5 results at UT

The other variable is what kind of meal can CJH cook up with the groceries he has.

A successful Fall can create Heup and offset any negativity produced by Gump and Lyle these last 4 miserable years.

The impending sanctions are being blown way out of proportion in my opinion. Probably a bowl ban for a year (if we self impose, that will be before any current recruits will be enrolled). Probably 3-4 scholarship reductions for a couple of years which really only affects the bottom of the roster anyway. Probably just won't be able to take some lower rated, developmental type players that we would normally take a flyer on. We seldom run at 85 anyway. Probably won't be able to award some scholarships to some walk-ons as we usually do with left over scholarships.
