Location of elbow strike signals intent. Elbow to ribs or gut equals “clearing out” acceptable basketball move in physical game.
Elbow up high to neck area should have stopped play for unsportsmanlike conduct with technical foul and ejection. Second elbow up high to face shows malice with intent to harm.

Hitting someone in the face with the tip of the elbow is a disabling blow in many forms of martial arts. The tip of the elbow is one of the strongest, hardest parts of the body and can be a devastating bludgeon. Example: results of elbow to cheek in referenced basketball game.
Well said! .... So all Payne had to do was say he was sorry??? At least he had to do that. When my husband was knocked out with an elbow to the face, not only was there no consequence to the player, but my husband's mother had to apologize to him and his mother that she ran on the court and scratched him before my husband could play again. One coach was trying to prove everything to do with his program was done correctly. One coach was trying to win the state.

If I can ask some help y’all. I just started my first day of quarantine and I have no hobbies. Anyone got some hobbies for a man to do for 10 days so I don’t go stir crazy?
Good time to try a bunch of options to see what you like. Everyone needs hobbies. Just not as many as I have.

I’m glad we’re not rewarding him for losing.
We are the ones that agreed to that contract.... tennessee can always find a way to come up with cash to pay a buy out.... we hurt ourselves worse by having this cloud of an investigation hanging over our heads for lord knows how long.

That’s if you subscribe to the thought that Pruitt bears zero blame for being so sloppy.

@de1conley has also more or less said that he got paid under the table by Pruitt and crew (amongst other programs), so he doesn’t have the most unbiased opinion.
Bottom line is we weren’t doing anything that the big dogs were and still are doing. I believe that Pruitt was probably and ass and “Sloppy” or not the school and baby back bia boosters told on ourselves to get him home instead of just firing the man if they weren’t happy with him. Had they down that there would be no infractions reported.

I repeat...glad he doesn’t get a dime. Don’t care what we CAN HANDLE. Investigation will conclude and we pay THAT off while we get better and count the savings.

“Errybody else” philosophy in liquid form. One of HIS “tolt on us”. He should pay for that...by not getting $12 million.

Look Bama, UGA, AU, LSU, UF etc. all sweep it under the rug and we run to the NCAA. We handled it wrong plain and simple. I’m excited to see Heupel and what he can do but it’s probably going to be a slim few years recruiting wise. We have to give Heupel 5-6 years minimum to get some stability. We can’t keep firing coaches every 3 years.
