I spent the last two days helping a good friend of mine with his two daughters that play golf. The oldest is 12 and I am going to caddie for her so her dad can now focus on the 10 year old that can kill a drive for her age. But Duck, she is affectionately call, the 12 year old is amazing. She is taking lessons from a guy who runs the Choo Choo golf Center here in Chattanooga and this young lady puts in the work on the driving range and putting like I have never seen before. Today they had a practice at Brainerd Gold course where some of you golf fans will remember Bret Henley the Pro there that caddie for a PGA pro several years ago. I am trying to remember the Pro's name but for the life of can't but the Pro was the guy I believe it was the Ryder Cup when he was standing in the water to hit the shot and when he did he lost his balance went under completely but the shot was awesome. Ok enough of that back to this 6th grader. She only got to finish 8 holes but she shot 40 from the ladies tees. She out drove the guys and out played them all. It was just a joy watching her play. I know this is boring to most but just had to share.

For my 31st birthday, I drank 31 shots of tequila. Beer chasers. Received a lifetime ban from a bar. Had a hangover for a week.

Good times. Definitely put a stop to binging. Whew. Hurts just thinking about that birthday.
Glad that I am too old for that now...
What kind of medicine do you practice again?

It was a great time if I could just remember it. LOL

Good Lord, 31 shots? Of tequila? I don’t care how old you were at the time (he!!, I don’t think I could have done it in my 20’s, and I was in the military) Only one question, was it worth it, or do you even remember if it was?

Hated tequila when I 1st became legal drinking age. And then, took a vacation to Cancun in my early twenties. Everywhere I went in to eat, they would give you a shot of tequila before you were seated. By the time I left Cancun, I was drinking the stuff like water! Only do an occasional shot or two of the stuff now though.

15 years folks. 15 years.

2006 Tennessee Football: Oh my God we haven't won the SEC East in TWO years!

2008 Tennessee Football: Wait, we lost 7 games this year?! Has that ever happened to us before?

2010 Tennessee Football: We just hired a coach from the Western Athletic Conference that has a losing record what are we doing?

2012 Tennessee Football: We haven't won more than 6 games in 3 years, we have hit rock bottom!

2017 Tennessee Football: We just had an 8 loss season we have DEFINITELY hit rock bottom this time!

2020 Tennessee football: We just got blown out by Kentucky by 27 points at home it ISNT POSSIBLE for it to get worse now!

2021 Tennessee football: We are about to have NCAA sanctions for the foreseeable future and recruiting is struggling we have gone THROUGH the rock bottom!

Edit: this won’t make sense for those who have Cat on ignore. For those who do, use your imagination...it’s Catbone.

I don’t know how that didn’t kill ya dead.

wait, you've never heard of embellishments?

My bad, @nicksjuzunk, Fair Acres gets all up in arms when I make jokes at expense of Kingsport TN. Lynn Garden, is a community in Kingsport. I stated literally that a Starbucks knife fight occured there, however, since Lynn Garden is home to daily knife fighting but, no Starbucks. Paragraph.

Let's assume, for purposes of the narrative, that, at least as it pertains to my Fictituous depiction of said events, that Starbucks is located in Lynn Garden Community. Aka stabbin' capital of the Southeast. End Paragraph.

I’m surprised you actually witnessed this. I would have suspected you to close your eyes and report it to a moderator at Starbucks, therefore banishing it from existence.

Herman didn't want to be caught in the middle of this issue that was causing racial divide so he backed the players who didn't want to sing the song. That didn't go over very well with some powerful boosters and may be one of the reasons he was bought out. I'm sure there were plenty of football related issues that got him fired. This song, Eyes of Texas, is basically sung to the tune of "I've been working on the railroad" and that's the sticking point for the black players. It's all pretty ugly because the really big boosters are taking a stand that they want the song to stand.

Edited to NVM...

Tequila is the Devils Juice

We have to go 0-12 for the curse to finally be lifted.

Between Butch’s last year and the pruitt debacle, I say that it’s worse than one 0-12 year...we’ve been suffering way more for way longer than one season. Enough is enough!

CJH is gonna throw a scorin’ party and invite the SEC to attend. Run/Gun/Have some Fun offense and an aggressive defense and an Ekeler insane special teams scheme! Let’s effin’ go!

So the birthday party was for three of us that were born 3 days in a row (different birth years) but 10/24, 10/25, & 10/26. We were doing body shots, etc. My friends cut me off, but I slipped the waitress my credit card and she would sneak me more shots... very bad idea. The manager kicked us out when my friend said she had never been to a strip club, so for her birthday, I sat her in a chair (middle of the restaurant) and proceeded to give her a lap dance. 😁 Took years to live that down šŸ˜Ž
And yes I remember all that. The rest of the weekend was a hungover blur though.

Okay. Nothing in the Texas fight song is racist.
The tune that it’s sung to isn’t racist.

The song Working on the railroad can be considered racist. That’s a stretch. Working hard in Austin to find racism in the school song. If you don’t like the song, hit the transfer portal...or quit taking that scholarship money. Don’t make something out of nothing...

I think that this is a non-issue. I dislike the longhorns immensely. I can’t stand racism either. This isn’t racism. JMO

So this post didn’t age well. Now that the black face history with the texas longhorns was posted, I can dislike that school completely again.
