I don't think I've done that. I'm hoping they'll turn out to be impressive, but I'm waiting to actually see them impress me on the field.

You haven't, just wanting to explain in advance my peturbness with people. I know what it's like to have to rebuild a team and its no picnic. I tip my hat to these guys for taking this challenge on and I will give them my support. They didn't cause these issues.

yeah, i'm not even worried about titles in basketball. i mean, i'm glad it's a goal, and i'm glad we're a factor or in the conversation in terms of the SEC championship, and worthy of being mentioned for the NCAA tourney as far as contending programs goes.

but Barnes, despite his flaws, has been absolutely great for this program. there's really not much he could do as it relates to the management of the program that would draw enough ire from me to say he should get the git or anything.

all things being relative.....TN basketball being nationally relevant is a big box that he's checked. to me, he's really easy to root for.

Oldheads are grateful just to be relevant in basketball. And still can't wrap our heads around 13 years of dysfunction and not going to Atlanta in football.

20 year olds are upset we aren't a final four team in basketball, but have never seen a great Vol football team.

It's just interesting to me. Nothing more, nothing less.

I've been using it for three years and it is a blessing. I don't know what I will do when they eventually kill it. I don't even like telling people about it because more people using it will just speed up the process.

People are stupid..especially people in government.

Good to hear. Remember talking to you about it a couple years ago. It is magical stuff. Would drink a cup of it when my back was thrown out and it was unbelievable how well it worked. 1 cup would last me basically all day.

I will die a happy man if basketball ever makes a Final Four and football makes the playoffs.

JJJ is our best all around player. He will be back. I believe Pons, Fulky, Anosike, maybe both freshman are gone next year.

What? Have you watched KJ play? He turns the ball over at a rate of 6 per game and his best move is a dunk. Anosike has already said he was coming back. Both freshmen need another year with our S&C coach too.

The reason Hoople has not been on is that Finebaum will not pull punches and he will let "negavol" callers through to get in some punches. The only remotely good thing that has happened to UT football since firing Pruitt was hiring Garner and that's a still a maybe because a lot of people say he's not the same recruiter that he once was, which is understandable given his age and how long he's been around the SEC. If we get Simpson to commit tomorrow, Hoople will be on Finebaum next week. Otherwise, don't expect it to happen until he has some good news to shield against the body blows.

I could be wrong, I hope I'm wrong, but I won't be surprised if his golf career is over.

The surgeon said he was going to have to learn how to walk again. If all of his injuries heal properly, it's probably gonna be a real struggle playing tournament golf because the PGA does not allow golf carts in their tournaments. Years ago, Casey Martin petitioned the PGA to allow him to ride in a cart during tournaments because he had a medical condition that prevented him from walking. Nicklaus and a bunch or other pros put a stop to that really quickly and the PGA denied his request. I believe he's the golf coach at Oregon now.

Memorial Gym is a joke. Place sucks

Lots of players have said their depth perception is thrown off playing in that gym. I believe Vandy uses it as an advantage because they play and practice in that arena all the time. It looks like a big high school gym

I’m sorry, I sit here and read all you, and I’m betting it is the younger crowd, just almost orgasm about Kiffin. Do you not realize he caused more damage to this program than anyone? Coming in , running off players, the recruits he brought in, how many stayed and contributed? You can blame Fulmer, Hamilton, Booger, but the biggest pos when it comes to UT football is Monte’s boy. You can say left a job making millions for his “dream job” Bull Fing Sh!t, if you have any morals about you , you don’t bite the hand that feeds you. We are still paying for his crap.

I believe Daly got permission at one point. I can almost guarantee that if Tiger thinks he can win and wants to have a cart he will get one. He means way too much to the Tour.

But fwiw I still blame Hammy more. He hired a career losing coach from La Tech. Just thinking about that decision makes my blood start to boil. Even an 8 year old would know how awful a decision that is. Unreal.
