@Tennessee Golfer too

Fact Pattern:
1) Wife totaled her car a short while ago. Going to go down as being at-fault. Also possibly will get a "reckless driving" charge.

2) We are buying a new car. I have a spotless record. Already have my own car.

3) I will be the driver on about 80%+ of the mileage on the new car (she works from home and whenever we go out together/on trips I drive).

Obviously the concern here is her insurance going up. Questions:

1) Is there any issue with putting the new car under my insurance and myself as the primary driver (even though I'm of course primary on my own car as well).

2) If (1) is ok to do - Since we are married, does she even need to be on the policy at all? Will it hurt our prices if I put her as a secondary driver?

Tia

I mean one accident shouldn’t hurt her insurance.

Also, you can get a lawyer to do the reckless driving thing and probably get it dropped to a movement infraction or something else that won’t go on her license.

Oh ok, I thought a spouse was a covered driver.

Not sure - can we title it under both of our names? If not, would it be advantageous to title it under only mine and just make her a covered driver?
Yes you can she would just have to co-sign.

But you can just make her a driver on your policy and that covers it without having to deal with the title.

always heard UT gets best snow.

It does from my experiences.

The Great Salt Lake provides the opportunity for great snow to develop, as storms that developed over the Pacific Ocean move into the area and as it moves over the Great Salt Lake, gets colder and drier as it progresses. This causes the snow to be denser

In the case of my company there’s no issue you being primary on both vehicles. However since you are married my company requires spouses be listed as a driver unless they don’t have a drivers license at all.

Depending on who you currently have a reckless driving can be considered a major violation which will almost certainly impact your rate and effect your ability to shop around.

No advantage either way. Good questions though and I see what you are aiming for. Again verify all of this with your agent but likely accurate.
If it were me I’d add her and the vehicle to your policy. Get your agent to quote this change so you can compare the new potential premium to what you guys are paying now for the two policy premiums.

I’m all in on being the Oregon of the SEC. I know we are a historic program (Top 10 in wins), and the tendency is to turn our nose up at having to go a “gimmick” route...

But let’s play really fast, score a lot of points, and wear crazy uniform combinations.

You never know, that route may lead to huge recruiting success if we can change the narrative of Vol football into fun and cool.
I think if we score a lot of points and win a lot of games or simply win a lot of games, most of us won't care about the uniform colors all that much. I personally like switching things up for a game or two every year. The players seem to love it.

Was looking at the other QB’s in the 2022 class, but Texas commit Malik Murphy is a 5* and hasn’t thrown a TD in a high school game.

How does one get that rating?

I think these next few yrs rankings will be all kinds of jacked up. No camps etc. some not even playing. Going to see a lot more of overrated and underrated players imo

How about drunk guy that got on the field and evaded security for a long time... until someone caught him with the clothesline?

That was awesome because the guy was sitting right beside us. He was drunk as hell threatening to do it all game. Finally his buddies got some hot chick to tell him he has no balls if he doesn’t.

I was crying from laughing so hard. His friends were asking for donations for bail money from the crowd

He went horizontal 😆

I don't understand why the word "Gimmick" keeps being used by people. Their is nothing gimmicky about Heupels offense. It is not the I-formation, but nobody runs that anymore.

Stars absolutely matter, but they have to be developed, and lead by great coaching. We haven’t had stars + development + coaching in years. We may not have that now.
Agree. Part of being highly rated is having size and speed. Probably just as important, if not more, is being coachable, willing to learn and working your ass off.

7 years of pure insurance hell-------I wouldn't wish that on anyone

I agree with everything except two points:

1. Posters were overjoyed (in general) when Fulmer took over as AD because he was a sports guy, not a bean counter. He would right the UT AD... revisionist history makes him a bad choice from the beginning.

2. Kiffin lost me when he said that he was going to make UT into sc East. Putting up posters of sc great players NOT Tennessee great players. Then he left at least two wins on the field with bad coaching decisions. Played to lose close games against bama and florida (just wanted to look good, uninspired coaching schemes) especially UCLA. No answer for either ole miss or auburn. No effort to win bowl game against VT. Only times that I want to see kiffin at Tennessee is watching him deflate on the sideline as CJH’s team runs up the score on him. 😁
Absolutely perfect summary of Kiffin's tenure here. Perfect. I have no idea why he gets such love from posters here. That great recruiting class of his, wasn't. It turned out to be very mediocre.

Snows in July & August in MT. It's more Canadien than American, temp wise.

Big Sky is where the rich play. Bozeman is a small college town. But north of Jackson. Still takes money or affluence to live there.

People talk about how amazing WY, CO, UT, NM, et al are. It's MT.

If you truly are looking. Check out Billings Clean city surrounded by, mountains. Plenty of lakes close by if you ski, canoe, kayak.

Its a completely different mind set. Just be prepared, you wont leave. I love it and miss it.
I love Montana, but I fell in love with SW Colorado and southern Utah last summer. The variance in climate, fauna and geography in areas that are sometimes separated by less than ten miles is shocking.

Like when you are in the Escalante-Grand staircase and it is barren red and white sandstone desert, and drive up Boulder mountain. Within twenty minutes it is 10-15 degrees cooler and lush forest with mountain lakes everywhere..it blew my mind.

That’s kind of what has drawn me to that area. Moab not too far to the west, skiing to the west, yellowstone north, and it seems to have a diverse and more arid climate.
This is probably all a pipe dream tho. Our youngest is only 11, so have a while to go before moving is ever a real thought. Nice to dream tho!!
Seriously..check out the Cortez-Delores area. It is right on the doorstep of Mesa Verde NP, and it is right on the San Juan scenic byway (Million Dollar Highway). It is less than an hour from Durango and Telluride, and about a 120ish from Moab. It is also around three hours of Lake Powell(look up youtube vids of people vacationing on Lake Powell, it is spectacular).

The cost of living in Cortez area, and property cost is way lower than most places adjacent to all those spectacular places..right now. Check it out.
