Sorry, I didn't word this in the proper VN realist nomenclature. I should have said that it's a fact that banks agreed to coming here because he wanted to work with Garner and Martinez. And I know it's a fact because I read reports good, and/ or I know people who expressed their opinions to me and I believe them.He obviously knew about Garner and Martinez before he signed the contract. So we can assume he was ok with working with them. It's even possible that knowing they would be on board helped convince him to come here.
Not having a backup heat source and generator at your house are also choices. I'm not absolving Texas of responsibility, I just the we, as Americans, are spoiled and expect everything to work smoothly all the time and when it doesn't we have a tendency to be indignant about it.Yeah if it was just predicting tree limbs causing downed lines that would be one thing. But not designing that source of the power properly is a decision.
they did the same "post disaster" evaluation in New Orleans after Katrina regarding the levies and drainage systems. there's always a woulda/coulda scenario out there.
problem is, we're talking worst case scenarios here, and rarely does anyone, much less the government or private companies, ever actually plan and invest in preventing that from happening.
"what are the chances of that actually happening, again?"
" and how much would it cost for the preventative measures, again?"
"yeah, it's hard no"
