Good point. There is definitely a flight to other sports perceived as safe, although I’ve read there are more concussions in soccer and lacrosse than football but perception beats reality most every time... are you able to share where you coach? In Tennessee?

Reporter on 104.5 yesterday said NCAA is 2-3 years behind on reviewing cases. Said we could look at 2023 before NCAA starts looking at our case. Different that we are going to self impose. Said that will happen as early as this Spring. Obviously LSU is more like “prove it”.

This is dumb. We paid a premium because we aren’t a blue blood. It’s simple to think about.

He’s taken 4 schools to the NCAAT, doubles the tournaments at Texas, Clemson has been very few times since his SS, and Providence has been very few as well.

The other alternative was to hire a midmajor coach at $2 million, and UT has been terrible at those decisions except for one Bruce Pearl. It was a no-brained to pay Barnes, and there is no argument against it. The University benefits from it, and it was $2 extra million that gets paid back immediately in continued success.

Who cares right now? The season isn’t over, and the committee doesn’t look at where you are in conference. They look at overall record.

Plus, we have these expectations BECAUSE of Barnes. The program was a mess when he got it. This criticism about his pay is beyond stupid.

There may no longer be an NCAA by the time Tennessee's case comes up for review.

This is in no way the refs fault. We are bad today

Refs took us out of the game early when we're driving the ball and they allowed them to beat us up. We quit driving when we realized it wasn't going to work. Barnes should have gotten teed up early.
