I have always defended AV.

Anyways..none of this matters now, what is done is done. Av has been a good friend to many on VN, and I hope he comes back with info or not.

Just my two cents..which ain’t worth two cents.
The way some people railed oh him after the HFC hire, he probably said f it.

Don't blame him.

@thistime - serious question - are you okay, or is this like @Witch_Doctor ... kinda your thing on Volnation?
LOL !!!! It all depends on what one might consider okay. Just trying to put a little humor in what at times seems like a humorless time.......or am I REALLY unstable, I'll ask the nice men and get back with you.

I’m not here convince you we need an all black staff, I just think it’s ingenuine to say things like, just hire the “best” and pretend there isn’t a biased towards white coaches, and statements like 80% of minority schools should have 80% minority teachers is just an exaggerated way to justify the current bias. I grew up on the country and my parents say the same stuff but I married into a minority family and see the struggle that does exist.
But it's also disingenuous and dangerous to use the numbers argument. The focus should be on getting people to hire the actual best candidates they can, even though that's really subjective. When you start arguing numbers, it hurts the entire debate simply because the majority demographic in the U.S. is white. So ultimately, that argument does not lead to a win for minorities. It just creates more problems.

Honestly, I question whether or not the majority of this country, regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, or sexual orientation, truly understands what equality is?

What is minor dialogue?

Now that I've read a little more and realize he reason behind this post...

A few things and then I'm gonna dip.

1. I'd buy Bruin a beer, just to have the opportunity to spit in it before I threw it in his face. I'm you're Huckleberry.

2. Seculate all you want but my toes begin to curl when you question motive and character. I don't give a flying rat turd what your opinion of AV's insider status is, I've verified that with my own eyes. Talk on that all you want...but do everyone a favor and keep your personal opinions of him personally out of this board.

3. AV will return when he chooses, or he won't, but he won't be bringing info like before, at least for the foreseeable future. No, this isn't the result of any punitive measure. I'll let him speak on that if he wants to.

4. After my last two weeks, y'all are funny, arguing about this ridiculousness. None of this stuff really matters. Feels like all I've dealt with has been death for the last two weeks. I just don't care who the DC is right now.

5. I find it curious how someone (previously mentioned in this post) can continuously make personal attacks against another poster, and their motives, and not receive a ban.

Peace out, boys.

good people destroy things to gain power.

bad people do great things with their $ to gain power over people.

good people do great things with their money and make mistakes when doing what they feel is best with the influence their money gives them that cause grave harm.

Take you pick on which one you think AV is but either way he’s the true enemy of the University of Tennessee football program and it’s going to take us a decade to overcome the hurt he and his Group has caused.

White / Black? Doesn't matter, as long as it is Heupel's final decision. Doesn't set well with me knowing that our coach is being hindered by UT's screwed up administration.

I don't either, but he has never let it bother him before. I remember when he first showed up in Derrick Browns thread a few years ago and I got into with him a little bit because the info we were getting from everywhere else was pointing to Brown signing with us and he was saying there was no way. I found out pretty quick he was for real. He is overly positive over kids that play us sometimes..but if he ever says a kid is not coming here, you can pretty much take it to the bank.
