Wrong. He didn't do that out of some moral stonghold to extended justice to a friend that had been wronged. He did it, like he said in his press conference, because he thinks he will give them the best strength program in the NFL. He thinks he can help him win. End of story.Y'all can say what you want, but refusing to black list a friend and colleague of 20 years on the back of unsubstantiated accusations shows character... Not a lack of character. Jmo.
Like Urban or not, the convenient thing to do would be to hire someone else and avoid the criticism. I can respect someone who does what they think is right instead of what is convenient. Especially these days.
Tim Banks coached at Memphis for a couple seasons. African-American. Aggressive defense. There is definetely a profile being followed. I like it. Shows we know what we need and we don't settle for a "name" just to try and save face with the media and fans. Get who you think is going to fit correctly and don't worry about anything else.
While you idiots are at it, tell Ashley’s dad he’s an idiot too. @ob79 he isn’t and neither is @Atlanta VOL Also @InVOLuntary and others who know the legitimacy of a man whose whole life and his fathers supported Tennessee. He’s not posting because he’s been told not to. However, he really tried to give the insight he could and it doesn’t disappoint me the newbies spouting off as much as you guys who know better.
I hope he never post again here. You guys deserve to wallow in your misery.
Apparently they are trying a new strategy and not going to hire a DC. Hire everyone on the offensive side, recruiting office and defensive staff, but no DC.
It's crazy enough that it just might work!!
Yeah, I imagine that's true. Just seems we have paralysis by analysis, and we're forcing something behind the scenes that these coaches don't like.I am fairly confident that JH would have had his DC locked in already if he was controlling it.
He thought he was getting away from that b.s., when he left the college game. Think Urban is in for a rude awakening.Wrong. He didn't do that out of some moral stonghold to extended justice to a friend that had been wronged. He did it, like he said in his press conference, because he thinks he will give them the best strength program in the NFL. He thinks he can help him win. End of story.
That is a bit alarming to me.
