It’s a good source of information. For instance if you wanted to get good info on The “Battle of the Bulge” , you would get a fairly accurate and detailed synopsis of the event. No publication or worded text can be 100% confirmed as accurate or truthful. The possible bias or intent of the person providing the information has to be taken into account. Same as the old bound encyclopedias. Wikipedia is actually better overall than those publications because it is peer reviewed almost continuously.

We do have VN members. who have inside information. Sometimes their take on that information is inaccurate with “Atlanta Vol” being a recent example with his opinions on DW and the scope of the HC search. Stoerner Fumbles without a doubt was providing accurate information in December and January before it was officially announced or posted by other mainstream sources.

He would be leaving his current position of head football coach at Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina, a position he had held since the 2018 season.[1] Conklin served as the defensive coordinator at the University of Pittsburgh from 2015 to 2017.[2] He played college football at Dakota State College in Madison, South Dakota.[3]

The only issue is that it can be changed easily without having to be verified. It is hard to trust.

It also says his title is Co-DC on the right of the page.....Does that mean Rodgers is coming too?:p;).

If their information is inaccurate, does that make them an insider? Wouldn't the very definition be someone who is "inside" the decision making process not someone who just hears things occasionally?

Dan is not allowing information to reach us like we were used to previously. Insider nuggets are very difficult to provide, especially when sting operations are being run to close leaks.
