Zach Ragan just posted a story that he thinks we should hire Wofford’s coach instead of Kacy Rodgers. I would have to disagree

The biggest problem with that is that Wofford kicks off their season NEXT weekend and it runs through mid-April.

Don't like steele scheme with our offense but at least Steele has a proven SEC defense and can recruit. I don't know if Rodgers can recruit

I think that's fair with the recruiting concerns. You wonder if Kacy is up for this life. But Steele is the definition of a retread and Rodgers is a decade younger. I would be fine with either. But I love that we would at least play fundamentally sound defense with Rodgers. You've got to be multiple in the NFL so his scheme would likely be as flexible as anybody we could hire.

Look in the mirror. You called Kacy Rodgers, a VFL, NFL player, college coach for 6-7 yrs, NFL coach for 18 yrs, several of which he was a DC, who just coached the DL of the Super Bowl Champions, and has coached under Todd Bowles for a number years.........an Old Retread.
