Who really knows all that is going on?

It's easy to in hindsight look back and say that Pruitt simply being fired would have been the best plan. But, does that mean that Fulmer is still the A.D? If that's the case, then all the stories of Fulmer's involvement would have probably led to a number of coaches turning UT down for that reason alone. No one knows how the NCAA will rule, so it's all conjecture at this point. Maybe Danny White needs some humility and this is giving it to him. I think he certainly can be more effective than some past ADs (that's not saying much) and I think that Heupel might not be the guy to win championships, but he might, just might get the program on solid footing and I hope that he gets a DC that he believes in, who wants to be at UT, and they get things moving in a positive direction.

I'm glad Pruitt is gone.
I'm glad that Fulmer is no longer the AD.

UT will ride this wave and it will eventually crest and there will be beauty on the other side.

You don’t have to. It’s clear that Heup doesn’t want Steele as his DC. That’s it, that’s the whole story. That’s why he isn’t being considered. The HC doesn’t want him as DC.

It could be that the team is not embracing Steele given all that has transpired since Steele was brought on board and Heupel is aware of that.

Blake Baker offer got out to see who would leak the info so that problem can be addressed. Was never a candidate
It looked pretty ingenious. Got Jimmy to bite on an incorrect name, showing his stupidity and ignorance, while catching a leaker red-handed. I will give DW props and points if this leads to Jimmy's exit from Knoxville.
