I'm not saying he has to vastly overpay to get him. I think the money we offered is enough. I want him to sell him on everything else, whatever that may be. That's what I mean by close the deal. We can get a robot to keep upping the offer until somebody take it.

Blake Baker/Diaz did a bit better than Jeremy/Ansley in both 2019 and 2020 on scoring D even with that bad loss to UNC this past season. He had La Tech DC experience before taking the job at the U.

All we need is a young gun DC who can recruit well that can keep the scoring D at 30 and under. He's done that. Hire the guy for less and go get some stud assistants.

That's all speculation, but if it were true that Franklin "cost" us Elliott, Elliott was never coming here to begin with

My expectations may be too high. I'm in sales. You pay for production.

I do agree we need patience and hell CJH maybe be what we need to get back on stable footing. DW deserves the benefit of the doubt and our support. Hope I'm not coming off that I don't believe or understand that.

Papa Washington wanting him to stay at home and OSU convincing him he would have better opportunities in a year or two (at OSU or elsewhere) seem to have convinced him to stay in Columbus.
