Looking at the OSU assistant salaries Combs (DC) makes 1.4 million per year. We are offering Washington 1.5 million. Unless OSU gives Combs a raise, I just don’t see how they can make AW an offer that would pay him more than the DC. That doesn’t make sense.

I mean if he is the guy you want then who cares what you pay. Will save you money in the long run. Pay him 2m. If he is your guy just pay him.

yep it doesn’t matter what the market value is for him what matters is how bad we need him. Worth is hard to measure but in this case we have “underpaid” our HC and almost certainly “underpaid” our OC we should break the bank to make it happen for this guy
