I would personally flip the UGA score and result as a loss. I’m not sure about Ole Miss either.

I simulated the 2021 Schedule with a simulation tool on the internet and these are the results:
Vs Bowling Green- W 41-6
Vs PITT- W 30-24
Vs Tenn Tech- W 55-0
@ Florida- L 52-42
@ Mizzou- W 34-10

@ Bama- L 17-16
@ Kentucky- W 34-19
Vs UGA- W 44-10
Vs South Alabama- W 36-13
Vs Vandy- W 45-10

Like I said, just for fun, but pretty interesting. Final record (10-2 Overall) (6-2 SEC)

@BruisedOrange wondered how Heupel's UCF squad from last year would perform against this same schedule, so I simulated that as well. Results below.

VS Pitt- L 31-27
Vs Tenn Tech- W 43-10
@Florida- W 41-34

Wow, 17 years of crap and you have us 10 - 2 before the guy even has a full staff and any of his players in place? I'll give you optimism. My money is squarely on the 5 - 7 - 6-6 range. we can revisit after this year and see who was closer. Your optimism or my realism.

Good luck

I wonder how Heupel's team last year would perform against that schedule? How much is personnel, and how much is system?
If you want apples to apples, using first year (install year) and just SEC schedule, he avg 22.625 ppg against the SEC.

In 2019 wins against Georgia State and BYU would have put us at 10-3 with the bowl win, so this simulation doesn't seem that outlandish to me, especially if CJH puts a modern high scoring offense on the field. The battered Vol in me feels differently, I'm just hoping for a surprise.

I believe a few people in this thread are wearing tighty whities about 3 sizes too small. Loosen up and enjoy life. It’s just a computer simulation for fun. Even If it comes to fruition, I promise you guys will still be able to find something to keep yourselves miserable.

Vs Bowling Green- W
Vs PITT- toss up
Vs Tenn Tech- W
@ Florida- L
@ Mizzou- toss up
Vs South Carolina- W
Vs Ole Miss- toss up
@ Bama- L
@ Kentucky- toss up
Vs UGA- L
Vs South Alabama- W
Vs Vandy- W

I see 5 guaranteed wins, 4 toss ups, 3 losses.....so anywhere from 9-3 to 5-7.....i could see 7 wins...and that would be a great start to the CJH era....but Id take 5-7 if the losses were close and we had shots to win at the end

seems kind of impossible to predict, there is not enough data to put into the sim. We don't know who will start at MOST positions, from QB to Kicker, it's all up in the air.
It could be as good as 6-6 or as bad as 3-9

Vs Bowling Green- W
Vs PITT- ????
Vs Tenn Tech- W
@ Florida- ???
@ Mizzou- ???
Vs South Carolina- ????
Vs Ole Miss- ???
@ Bama- L
@ Kentucky- ???
Vs UGA- L
Vs South Alabama- W
Vs Vandy- ?????
By my math 10 looks like its possible. Its highly unlikely but very possible. Its not unusual for teams that have some talent to turn it around right after a bad season. Especially if u dont have a really tough schedule. I think we lose to the big 3 plus we let another 1 or 2 slip through our hands. That's like 7-5 ish. We are only overmatched in 3 games. The other 9 are all winnable tbh with a possible 10th win in a bowl game.

This post is the heart beat of the delusioneer. We were god awful last year and lost multiple starters to the protal. So we are setting the bar at 8 to 10 wins. Makes perfect sense.
