I don't equate decisions or coaching hires leaking with "dysfunction."
We haven't been bad for a decade because we know the inner workings - we've been bad for a decade because we hire bad coaches. That's dysfunction.
Mike Leach? He was lost because the AD was fired and trying to save his job by hiring a coach before he returned to Knoxville.I strongly disagree. Last cycle, we lost a coach we attempted to hire due to leaking. Leaking affected the hiring. We also looked like a complete clown show because of all of the coaches we attempted and failed to hire. Coaches don't want to work for clown shows, hence, leaking affects hiring. The two are strongly linked. There is zero benefit to AD hiring being a spectator sport.

Yes. As I understand it Pruitt and company didn't recruit locally or State wide and relationships deteriorated. Also, Tennessee as a whole is supposed to have some really good 2022 and 2023 recruits, so rebuilding these relationships is important for recruiting the state and to keep other SEC/ACC teams from getting these recruits.Isn't that Knoxville Catholic? What did he need to 'make right' there?
Wonder where we would be if Brohm had taken the jobI strongly disagree. Last cycle, we lost a coach we attempted to hire due to leaking. Leaking affected the hiring.
