It's also easier to come in strict and then relax things after the strict has been established, rather than let things go as the "way we used to do things."Vols fans are funny. We complain about how dysfunctional UT leadership is and complain that we can't get good coaches, but we looove the leaking and nugs that comes from that dysfunction. So then we get a guy who is changing the culture of the AD by setting and enforcing new standards, and we complain about that too.
I don't equate decisions or coaching hires leaking with "dysfunction."Vols fans are funny. He's not my first choice but the staff Elliott brought in WOULD have been elite. No doubt
Agree. The leaks aren't what make us dysfunctional. We got 99 problems, but that ain't oneI don't equate decisions or coaching hires leaking with "dysfunction."
We haven't been bad for a decade because we know the inner workings - we've been bad for a decade because we hire bad coaches. That's dysfunction.
Smartfootball had something similar, I loved itWould like to share something with y’all that’s In the works and I’m really proud of....
I’m working with a couple guys from back home on developing a “blog” through Twitter that Is completely related to film break downs. We’re hoping to have some former VFLs on and walk us through the calls and what happened. Hopefully if it gets off the ground and people enjoy it we can do some live “watch parties” once the season arrives. The goal is to make it as interactive as possible and help teach vol fans of all ages, backgrounds, and knowledge levels.
He said on the radio in Nashville that he wouldn't come to college for anything less than HC. And I don't blame him because most likely in the next 2-3 years he will have an NFL DC or, possibly, HC.Mayo, let him fill the D staff with former Vols.
All they remember from their time here is winning, maybe we need some of that mentally.
That's great man! I love schematics. Hope it works out for yaWould like to share something with y’all that’s In the works and I’m really proud of....

Maybe you should consider going back to bed. Looks like you might need some more rest.View attachment 348214
*Mind your own business. I'm doing a little mid morning GIF trading with @engineerVOL.
Right - and specifically regarding the hiring of Heupel, White should consider himself lucky it leaked the night before. It gave people time to come to grips with it and get on board.Agree. The leaks aren't what make us dysfunctional. We got 99 problems, but that ain't one
I don’t think JH not Elliott would survive here. I said form the beginning the second hire DW makes is the big one and I think Elliot would recruit way better and leave a better roster for the next coach
