New Tennessee coach Josh Heupel made a surprise addition to the Vols’ 2021 recruiting class on National Signing Day. Tennessee announced Wednesday morning that sophomore offensive lineman 6-6 315 lJeremiah Crawford of Butler Community College has signed with the Vols, becoming their first official Class of 2021 addition since Heupel’s hiring. Pruitt had recruited him as a defensive lineman that speaks highly of his agility. Good technique, footwork and has a mean streak. A good addition.

At this point, all new lineman are a positive. I do not think the 247 Roster is correct. Don't we have two lineman from the Mays family? We only have one senior? Does that factor in the COVID-19 free year? If CJH can pull O and D lines together, we will be just fine. It is time to have an open practice to students who want to try out for the team.

Our O line has some very good talent coming back. Not worried here.

This is an oversimplification, but...

if we were recruiting "bulldozers" for Chaney's offense,
Heupel's offense may work best with Ford F-150 Raptors with some ballast in the bed.

Would appreciate people with more detailed knowledge weighing in on that...

Can't wait to see what our new S&C team can do for him. 6'6 with what looks like long strong arms...you can build on that frame with good technique and make a really nice SEC OL.

Yes, I agree, it speaks very highly of him that Coach was looking at him for DL too. Fast, agile OLs can work in this system. Echoing others of you, I like seeing the JUCO guys and Sr transfers coming in to help our program
