Good coaches can come from anywhere. A lot of the best coaches in the NFL and College came out of D3, D2, either as players or coaches. Hell Mount Union has been a wildly successful training ground churning out coaches at every level.

The Pruitt hire is one that’s a head scratcher. Not because he failed at UT bit because he succeeded elsewhere. The guy is truly a dimwit. Saban has proven he could literally have Forrest Gump coach the defense and still succeed.
