Doubtful. Disagreeing with @hog88 on this one. I'm not sure it makes it out of the House much less to the Senate. It's literally the most draconian measures ever put into a gun control document in our history. The psychological evaluation alone will keep it from passing and I feel would be struck down by the SCOTUS.
I don't think anyone who might face a challenge in 22 will vote for it in either portion of Congress.
That is a bill written by tyrants.
This is because they saw what could eventually happen to them. Also... they saw that when those folks weren’t even armed. Folks will grow tired of begging for their natural rights eventually.She isn’t very bright and her knowledge of guns is worse than De Leon’s, which is sad. How these people get elected is beyond me. These people can’t keep their own districts in check but feel they need to legislate for everyone. I guess coming after everyone’s .50 cal AR 15s that weight 50 pounds will cure the black on black crime in Houston.
co-sponsors = zeroAnd so it begins...

I love how they recycled the list from the 94 AWB for the "military style weapons."
Wonder who's supposed to pay for all these psych evals?There is more WTF!? in that than I can wrap my head around on first reading. I mean, what the hell is this "psychological evaluation" bit?
(2) PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION.—A psychological evaluation is conducted in accordance with this paragraph if—
“(A) the evaluation is conducted in compliance with such standards as shall be established by the Attorney General;
“(B) the evaluation is conducted by a licensed psychologist approved by the Attorney General;
“(C) as deemed necessary by the licensed psychologist involved, the evaluation included a psychological evaluation of other members of the household in which the individual resides; and
“(D) as part of the psychological evaluation, the licensed psychologist interviewed any spouse of the individual, any former spouse of the individual, and at least 2 other persons who are a member of the family of, or an associate of, the individual to further determine the state of the mental, emotional, and relational stability of the individual in relation to firearms.
How dare you!
I hope you're right but I think the Ds have again misread the election results and think they have a mandate to get their agenda passed.
