It’s so crazy. A voter ID supposedly suppresses the right to vote but background checks, multiple licenses, psyche evals, etc is ok to suppress another right. It seems like they’re actually proposing changing the constitution with bs legislation from a moron.

Somewhere in here I predicted that they would try to push major gun legislation in the first 90 days. I'm sure this will pass the house, hopefully the Senate can hold out. This would make millions of law abiding citizens criminals.

There is more WTF!? in that than I can wrap my head around on first reading. I mean, what the hell is this "psychological evaluation" bit?

(2) PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION.—A psychological evaluation is conducted in accordance with this paragraph if—
“(A) the evaluation is conducted in compliance with such standards as shall be established by the Attorney General;

“(B) the evaluation is conducted by a licensed psychologist approved by the Attorney General;

“(C) as deemed necessary by the licensed psychologist involved, the evaluation included a psychological evaluation of other members of the household in which the individual resides; and

“(D) as part of the psychological evaluation, the licensed psychologist interviewed any spouse of the individual, any former spouse of the individual, and at least 2 other persons who are a member of the family of, or an associate of, the individual to further determine the state of the mental, emotional, and relational stability of the individual in relation to firearms.

Doubtful. Disagreeing with @hog88 on this one. I'm not sure it makes it out of the House much less to the Senate. It's literally the most draconian measures ever put into a gun control document in our history. The psychological evaluation alone will keep it from passing and I feel would be struck down by the SCOTUS.

I don't think anyone who might face a challenge in 22 will vote for it in either portion of Congress.

I simply can't make myself underestimate the



in DC but the incredible onus (what would all that cost?) placed on the citizen and has no business passing even a sniff test in court. For that matter this guy



should drop from the ceiling and beat the sponsors of the bill to a bloody pulp.

I hope you’re right. I find it hard to believe an already inept government agency would do well keeping up with all the guns and licenses. I’m assuming the NFA and ATF would have to merge to take on something so large and absurd. It took 3 months to get my CWP after submitting all my info to the state so can you imagine the time it would take to get a license from the feds? And you will need multiple licenses on top of that! It already takes 6+ months to get through the NFA bs. Who’s footing the bill for the psyche evals? So much absurdity it’s hard to absorb.
