Half a million for a couple weeks of hanging out by Steele.
$200,000 for search committee.
6 Million in buyouts, not counting staff
4 million a year for new coach.
Still paying PhatPhil.
Gonna have to settle with Pruit...

Spending money like drunken sailors!!!!

I don't understand why anyone still listens to the "insider info" on sports talk radio anymore or trusts what they read from these same people on the internet. None of them are clued in to what is going on at Tennessee. Heupel didn't start being mentioned until late Monday. Pretty much all of these idiots had us hiring Elliott from Clemson. It is a reality that most head coaches want autonomy in hiring their staff. If Heupel is going to have any chance at all to succeed in this seemingly impossible job, he deserves a fair chance... and that means he shouldn't have any staff members forced on him.

JH doing what he wants on defense results in almost giving up 500ypg.

Yikes.

This would be like if Dooley went with BamBam right out of the gates instead of having Justin Wilcox delay the inevitable for 2 years.

This.

That defense is absolutely awful under Shannon.

You know this how? He's at a school with unlimited resources and can finally hire anybody he wants. Damn, atleast give the man a chance..

Dang I was hoping Steele would stay. If Randy Shannon isn't named UCF head coach that could be a good DC hire
