I imagine JH has to be re-recruiting Bailey right now. Depending on how that plays out maybe that opens the door for Gilbert (doubt it, though).

One thing about Heupel is that he has developed multiple stud QBs. Excited to see what he can do with HB. Blue chip QB, good QB developer, speed at WR, spread offense....IF he surrounds himself with the right staff, look out. We may actually surprise some people. Just saying.

The offense is ready to rock. Which is pretty funny considering we just fired a 'defensive guru' coach. Adding Gilbert would be an embarrassment of riches. might be too late now, but after seeing HB and Salter chucking the ball around the yard in the spring game? Who knows. Maybe a summer time enrollee

I would say hiring the right defensive guys is going to be key, but heck, does college football even play defense anymore? Bama didnt and they won a natty lol. Gilbert would be an embarrassment of riches. And I think Dee Beckwith is about to have himself a year.

I can’t wait to see how they use Beckwith in this offense. Should be a guy they move around and create mismatches with

Bama actually did minus a few big plays they pressured Lawrence all night and stuffed their run. Clemson only scored 25, I would say that is good defense. I am amazed at the folks that totally discard defense these days. There will be great defenses in the future as well, hope and pray we are at least good or we will never see a title. There are 2 sides of play in this game, to ignore one will not win you anything. GBO!
