Recruiting Forum Football Talk III

Ya know, all these years I've been on Volnation, especially during the coaching searches ... I just want to be on here when it happens - when the big news breaks for real ... just to be able to share in the jubilation, booms, and gifs, with my fellow Volnation brethren (and sistren).

I don't know how much more I can take, but I'm afraid to walk away from my desk, because just as sure as I do, I'll miss it.

Then, the roller coaster goes back downhill with sonny or a coordinator.

I guess it doesn't matter. Just like in politics, they didn't ask my opinion and they're gonna do what they want to anyway.

She can’t say anything if he’s in talks other than what she said

She couldn’t say I think “James may go” or “James has a decision to make”
Or “I am not sure what our future holds with James”

she said all she could say if a coach is in talks

What she didn’t say and it telling you me is “James is going to be our coach next year”
Point is, she didn't have to say anything at all.

This is not me saying a man's skin color should be a consideration during a coaching search, and I want to stress that as such.

However, it would be nice for the school that had the first black QB in the SEC to continue the tradition by employing the only current black head coach in the conference. He would be only the 6th black head coach in SEC history.

Again, this is not me virtue signaling or whatever, but I'd be happy for Tennessee to continue its' role in progressing the sport and I think it would be valuable for us in the national media and on the recruiting trail. Good publicity can work for you.
