Let’s be honest. We all hated Pruitt before he was our HC and called him every name under the sun then we supported him until he sucked. We will do the same for James Franklin but actually win games.

I will say this as well. If he is the guy, state of TN and Nashville area become really hard for anyone to pull the guys we want. He would have racked up those Nashville boys had he stayed.

That said, this roller coaster ride is giving me a heart condition!

Just think about it for a second if it’s Franklin...

PSU, the search firm and UT would have done extensive background checks on him. So maybe those of us that don’t like him just don’t like him because he kicked our ass when at Vandy and maybe he didn’t actually cover up rape and maybe is a good guy.

You know what he does do? Win.

And nationally this would send shockwaves throughout the sports world that dumpster fire joke of a program UT just hired JF away from PSU. It would be massive nationally.

For me Franklin is no whale. I'm disappointed if it turns out to be him. He is a boring hire.

His family lives in Destin. If his daughter needs to be in Nashville, he would be 2.5 hours away instead of a flight from State College to Florida.

So what exactly is his daughter's health issue? I know Vanderbilt has great doctors and all, but there are also world class doctors as close to PSU as there are UT, and any of them can be on consult anywhere in the world. So this daughter needs to be in Nashville narrative doesn't fly.

I'm curious and hopeful the slow leak of Franklin info is happening to prepare/float his name and allow the masses to get their mind right before it becomes official (if it does). Maybe it'll help avoid another schianomo situation.
The national media would be blown away by us hiring Franklin and it would definitely send a message that we're sitting back down at the adult table (on field results only)

I also think he would be able to help us in regards to the instate recruiting. Is his new OC Yurcich? if so, wonder if he's part of the deal?
