Is this enough to rule out Chadwell?

In 2018, the NCAA released a detailed report concerning numerous NCAA violations that occurred during Chadwell's tenure as the CSU head football coach. The violations ranged from using multiple ineligible players to players using scholarship funds to purchase electronics and jewelry from the campus book store. Ultimately, the NCAA sanctions vacated 18 wins from the 2014 and 2015 seasons and the 2015 Big South Championship. Also vacated were three wins over crosstown rival The Citadel, games during which CSU used ineligible players.

I know the AV post overshadowed any talk of what SF posted last night but I’m surprised it hasn’t gotten more talk.

he said those involved in the search were trumping DWs second choice of a Coordinator in favor of a HC. If that’s the case DW wasn’t hired to do a job at all. He’s just a puppet for the Haslams

Chadwell may be the best we can do. At least there is hope there. Hire him
Naw. We could have Fleck or Freeze right now. For some reason we have passed over Fleck and won’t look at Freeze. We better trot out a winner or we are still dealing with major internal issues.

One of the knocks on Dykes is that he is VERY thin skinned. He wouldn’t survive 2 years here.
That does not work at Tennessee.. If it is someone like Campbell, he's going to have a lot of love and rope--(really haven't experienced that since Johnny Majors) but when the three year mark comes with an up and comer, the base starts getting restless.

Legitimate fear - I just believe in his ability to score points and recruit well.

I think it's like hiring Kiffin in 2009.
If he's coming here to be HC he doesn't need to call plays, period. I don't think he would stay out of it much like Pruitt. Recruiting, thats a huge unknown because he's been at Clemson. Everyone recruits "OK" here but "OK" doesn't get you anywhere.

right? dunno. bad? definitely not....i think there'd be significant praise for either one, with a side of cautiously optimistic.
Yeah, I guess I just mean as far as candidates we are legitimately attached to at this point.

Chadwell or Elliott would get this place fired up after the initial shock that Kiffin or Freeze weren't options.

Please give me some hope man... this is horrible haha, but also fantastic.
my first, she had cholic for the first 3 months. we slept in shifts. i remember sitting on the couch one night around 2 in the morning bouncing this kid up and down on my knee, and telling my wife "who would do this more than once???" lol.

it'll get better....hang in there.

Maybe this is giving up, but I like that Chadwell would do something different here on offense. Eventually the game will change. Defensive coordinators will figure out how to stop these modern offenses and the pendulum will swing back in the other direction. If we try to copy what everyone else is doing, we're just going to do it a little worse than them because we won't have the same talent. And all the DCs will be ready for it.

Chadwell will bring something different to the table, and we may be able to get by with top 20ish recruiting classes and not have to recruit top 5 to stand a chance at winning the East.

I want Elliott calling plays - and I wanted Pruitt calling plays on defense.

The issue is dictating what the other side of the ball does - and Elliott has, by far and away, a better reputation as far as being able to work with others than Pruitt.
