I know...but that is literally the one guy that would totally break my heart for them to hire to represent us...hell, even if it's a Will Healy level hire at least I could still pull for him and the team to succeed.
Did you feel the same way about CBJ going into the 2016 season when he allegedly called Bowles a traitor?

Elliott no question. He can recruit nobody wants to play for the other nerds.

Agreed, while no experience as head question is a HUGE question mark. I do suspect he would assemble a stellar staff. I'd think he'd keep Steele at DC or at least as a position coach since they worked together (assuming they have a good working relationship. That could also mean Garner or Hobby as well on the defense. Unsure if he'd keep Graham, Tee or others on offense.

It could also mean that we'd maintain a leg up on Ty Simpson as our QB and cornerstone of the 22 class. Fingers crossed.

Any other staff thoughts if it ends up being Elliott? Go Vols!

Sorry but Healy means the program is essentially dead. No matter how you feel about him, Franklin is a proven winner.

Agreed, but also add Healy to that list. May be great someday, but I read something about him preferring smaller linemen, and that brought back Butch memories and a run game based on bubble screens and jet sweeps.
Healy grew up a Vol fan so at the very least I could talk myself into him working hard for his dream job.
