It’s customary in many coaching searches to narrow the field to 3-5 candidates by telling them they are finalist and get interviews

If you all would allow me, I think I can summarize our collective opinion on Franklin:

We think he's a good to great coach and excellent recruiter. What he did with Vanderbilt was incredible. We have some questions about his character. From an on field standpoint we would be very optimistic. From a character standpoint he would have to earn our trust.

I’ve said Riley since mid December. For some reason I think he is the left field pull.

I hope it’s one of the 5.

Lincoln Riley signed a 6-yr, $45.21 million contract extension, just 6 months ago, making him the 3rd highest paid coach in college football. Average annual salary of north of $7.5 million/yr. I’m not even sure $10 million a year for 7 years would be enough to entice him to clean up this mess and continually face better competition playing from behind the 8-ball each year.

Never said Vol fans would or did but it's a real thing. And it happens because people don't care to look for facts or proof. My point is it's incredibly stupid to believe something about a person without concrete proof.

I generally like will west, especially when it was him and josh. He trolls occasionally and it’s pretty obvious when he’s doing it, probably get people to call in. He says what he thinks on new coaches though and the sad part is that he’s right more often than not.

I think he does a great job with high school sports. I think he goes out of his way to try to prove he is unbiased and that is where the trolling perception, in my case, comes from.
