This may have been part of the Fulmer departure logic. Although they went out of their way to insulate CPF from knowledge, or reasonable expectations he should have had knowledge of the bad actions, this leadership group may have decided we would be better off to show a WHOLE NEW TEAM to the NCAA to mitigate penalties. There could have always been questions about CPF knowing or not knowing. All potential of that in the AD office are now gone. Since he was innocent of bad actions actions and not fireable, they triggered the reduced payments to the completion of his contract so we could run this new blood out there. My best guess based on this fast action. It will be interesting to see if there is a handoff by CPF or if he just disappears. That will be telling.
