He is not coming to UT. Sucking at Nebraska. Not the answer. Was a good mid major coach but doesn't have it as a power 5 coach.

Heupel or Chadwell.

UT lacks the decisiveness to hire Freeze or Kiffin.

Either Chadwell or Heupel would be a significant upgrade over Slingblade.

IMHO, White is a solid lead off double, but I'm not popping champagne corks just yet.

Now that we got the AD that hired him at UCF is it possible that we can get him to UT? And would you want him as coach or Josh Heupel?

Possible? I guess. I wouldn't want him. I consider Nebraska and Tennessee very similar programs in history and fan base, both are land locked in relatively small cities, have quality facilities, and both have to recruit heavily out of state. He isn't able to win championships there, in an easier conference, I don't think he can do it here.

Heupel would be a very good hire. I've got my fingers crossed on that!

Neither, Frost made sense after Lyle since we had a spread based roster. Honestly Nebraska and UT hired the coach the other should have. We had the personal for frost and Nebraska had a roster that more fit Pruitt.

Now after 3 years of filling up with 90s power run O players we would struggle the same as Nebraska until he could turn over the roster.

UCF current coach has gotten progressively worse which tells me as the old guard of players leave and it’s only players he’s coached the ability of the team has dropped off.

There’s better options out there and I’d honestly prefer to go the interim route for this season than hire either of those at this point

I can almost guarantee they were never on the field at the same time.
What you don’t remember Frosts 5 ints of Peyton or his 15 sacks, 10 were fumbled that he also personally recovered?
I think you need to go back and watch that game, Frost was more important on D than as the QB .

No, I can't see Front coming. He is coaching at his Alma Mater where his parent were or still are affiliated with the university.
Yeah, but I bet he's prob realized, its hard to recruit kids to Nebraska.
