Maybe off subject a little bit but I myself don’t care if they have a bowl ban placed against them as long as we end up with a coaching staff that can actually develop players and make us a respectable program again.I don’t want to watch a team and wonder how badly we’re going to lose the game.Tired of that!

Step 4 - Hire a great HC - who is ... (hopefully Kiffin)
Step 5 - Assemble a great staff
Step 6 - Finish out a soon to be improved recruiting class

Hiring an AD who seems to be universally respected in the industry may open up the pool of HC candidates who are willing to come here. They care about who their boss is going to be, and if White has such a great reputation that only helps our chances of landing a whale.

In the AD hire that ended up Currie, I expressed doubts on Fulmer because I thought the business end of learning on the job would be a negative. I walked that back big time when he took over for Currie and admitted being way wrong. Whilst still feeling that way, inkling of reservations popped up when the possibility of Pruitt being replaced became more and more realistic. We kept hearing from guys like LWS that Fulmer would never sign off on this guy or no way he would even consider that one. When your AD (no matter his love for the institution) becomes an omnipresent barrier to solutions, he ceases to be an asset.

Jay Graham should get a chance to stay here and probably will have at least that chance.
