I believe Hayden was really helping with trying to get the in-state class on board for 2022. I hope we don't mess this up.

Kiffin is going to get every Tennessee/Memphis recruit in the '22 class. Either he's going to get them at Ole Miss, or we can hire him and he will get them at Tennessee.

He's going to win games with less talent because he's a superior schematic coach in the meantime. I'm ready to forgive him. If he's willing to come here and redeem himself, pay him.

I mean, it would make for a pretty cool story if Lane was the one to end up coming back and saving the program. I still don't like him, but no denying he's a good football coach. Him paired with Steele would be pretty dang awesome.

Sometimes full-circle forgiveness is the best cure for a decade plus of dysfunction.

It depends on how much they like our self-imposed sanctions, IMO. If they buy in, it could be pretty quick. If they want to do more, it will stretch out over a couple of years.
