Well we had the possibility of hiring Gary Patterson but hired unproven Lane Kiffin.

This whole Prince versus Pauper act works well. Agree many of us on a FREE board don't
have the inner workings of VASF. But, Knoxville is a small town. Fulmer is very popular with what few donors that I know. (who usually work for guys like you, lol).

With that said, I trust no one up there any more. It's been over a decade of **** show. Fulmer brought continuity, if worst thing a former coach did was, try to do what he loved then...so be it.

Cheating is another thing. And while I dont like it. Im well aware todays athletes feel entitled to it. and do deserve compensation.

We are going to hire another mistake. Grit your teeth and get ready for it. I hope like hell they prove me wrong but this looks like it was all inside baseball (a fight for internal control and power) rather than about restoring our program to its premier status in college football. I will believe the FU money matters when it does something for the program instead of for themselves.

That's a stupid question, probably why insiders don't field it. Peyton's legacy to UT without his playing career is enough to cement him as an all-time ambassador. Multi-millionaire who regularly donates 7 figures to the university, even donates thousands to local HS for various reasons has been doing it for years too.
