“The belief on campus is that Pruitt is done at Tennessee.“ - John Brice

California has a recommend quarantine of 14 days for out of state travelers, it is not mandatory. With that being said, it is not a very good look for UT to be sending multiple university employees out there at this time.

I, with the rest of the South could give 2 ***** about california or their bs regulations.

So yesterday someone guarantees it was today. Today someone guarantees it's Tuesday, and now Sunday in this thread. This all after the other 50 guarantees. Eventually someone is gonna guess right, it'll likely be a year or two, but somebody is gonna get it right😂.

I'm officially throwing my "inside source guaranteed prediction" date out there- some time in the future!!

*if I'm right, and Pruitt is indeed fired "some time in the future", then I must be respected as an insider😂
We all know you're a GA fan anyway joe....

December 1, 2017-
John Currie Athletic director of UT
WAS ON HIS WAY TO HIRE MIKE LEACH, and found out that the board fired him...

Pruitt is gone. That trip to Henry T is an either or Trip for Pruitt.
" Henry if I'm gone, come play for me at ---- as DC"
Or
" Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere "
Steele & Ansley are with him reportedly.

I'm just telling you guys right now, straight up. Don't believe any of that ******** and get your hopes up.
Pruitt is not going to be fired.
He will be the coach next year.
More players will leave.
We will be absolute dogshit next season and beyond.

1)Those of us who have been fans for 35+ years understand things are bad
2) You’re beyond a negative poster and approaching troll area
3) You told us 3 weeks ago you were done and going to follow LK and Ole Miss
4) GO AWAY

I don’t think sooooo!

Why, because he has done so well? Because he has beating GA, AL, and Florida at least once, Because his team has improved, Because his recruiting is next level, Because his player development is excellent????

Bull$$it

You made me do this:

Should have known this was coming. Congrats for seeing it first.

So basically you're saying a "Jimmy asked me to go down to Florida to do a hit with Anthony, and that's when I knew I'd never come back from Florida" kind of trip?

of Pruitt being a sub par head coach, letting him dangle in the wind is a terrible look, he clearly wasn’t ready for this job. Why let him become the ridicule of the entire country? Just let him go or say you are behind him 100%. Do you not think that coaching candidates are not seeing what the school is doing to him?Jmo flame away

No need for anyone to flame you, you’re 100% correct. The way Fulmer has handled this situation has been pathetic. He’s hamstrung Pruitt so that even if he does remain our HC in 2021 the chances of any sort of success occurring now is probably 0. So, all we’re doing is delaying the inevitable since this next season is make or break for Pruitt and he is spending more time recruiting his own team than he is other players to fill our holes.

Fulmer has arguably done more damage in his career to TN because of his ego than he has positive work. He thinks because of his one national title that the ground he walks on should be worshipped and honestly he needs to go far more than Pruitt. He’s even more incompetent at his job than Pruitt is at his. The longer Fulmer remains in power the bigger ditch we’re digging.

I second all of this. No matter if the next coaching search starts in two days or not until the conclusion of the 2021 season, Fulmer absolutely cannot be the one making the hire.

If Fulmer has his way, Kevin Steele or Phillip Fulmer will be the next head coach. I’m certain that no matter what if Fulmer makes the hire it’s one of those two options.

Fulmer has convinced himself that his coaching tree is tantamount to the tree of Bill Belichick.

He’s going to bury this program so far in its own s*it we’ll never dig our way out of it.

I think he just doesn't want to hire anyone that might overshadow him, just like he didn't always make good assistant coaching hires because he was afraid a really good assistant could take his job from him.

I like Fulmer as a person and certainly as a coach of this university, but I agree he is just too stubborn. He's 70 years old, I'm hoping he retires quietly and rides off into the sunset and we introduce Blackburn or another AD soon.

watch your mouth boy, there are several us on here “riding off into the sunset!” ...lol
I use to think 70 was old, now I damn well know it is. Had a friend try tell me last week 70 is the new 60. Told him my mind wants to believe you, but my body ain’t buying it.

Anyway, I also like Fulmer but think he has been around long enough and like to see younger more aggressive type AD.

Waiting for an end to this investigation is like watching a soap opera with all the twists and turns.

It’s going to turn out that after the 2017 National Championship, Pruitts evil twin brother (who has zero coaching experience) assumed his identity and has been coaching UT for 3+ years.

After a 5-5 season, Lane got a big extension. I think it's $5mil to buy him out. He recently laughed at the notion of returning to UT. I don't think Lane would be in play no matter who the AD was

I don’t think he laughed as in he would never go back to that place, I think it was more of they would never rehire me.
