Democrats plan to introduce articles of impeachment as early as Monday

Liz Cheney, the top ranking Republican woman and the #3 Republican overall in the House, just announced she will support Impeachment. Extremely conservative representative and it is a big announcement. Said it is a “vote of conscience”.

And you know more damning details are going to come out soon: both about how Trump ignored warnings ahead of the rally, and then sat watching once the break-in was underway.

You got through the whole thing? I'm impressed.

I could literally feel my IQ dropping after each paragraph.

I'll take your word for it, despite the republican senators and congressman agreeing that his actions rose to the level of impeachment - Trumps inciting the crowd was just another excuse for a Dem's bi-partisan pile on.
I'd say they feel the money drying up. Good luck getting rid of Citizen's United. That's the only place both parties are united.

Btw, the election was weird. I can't see how anybody who watched it that night didn't see how weird it was. Votes showing up through the night, effectively all for one side. It's not that crazy to imagine folks are pissed off about it.

I don't think folks realize how the backlash is playing across the country.

If it's like it is locally folks are just getting more pissed off.
That’s why I think impeachment is such a bad idea. Time and the ballot box have taken care of things. What’s the point of an empty symbolic impeachment trial after the fact when all it does is reinforce the division? Besides... if I’m a Democrat, the last thing I want is for the first action of Congress to be kicking a dead horse rather than passing legislation.

We shouldn't be making decisions about impeaching a POTUS for political reasons like he's damaging the GOP or we won't because we will antagonize his base. I think he handled this extremely poorly. At no point do I see where he broke the law. It's that simple.

Trump handled the election theft just like he should have
Every American should be very scared of what comes next from the Communist

Can you please not give them any ideas. Let them go ahead and waste as much time with this as they can.

Let McConnell vote for it if the "sources" are correct. He's politically dead if he does, so, I hope he wasn't planning to run again in '26.

That was mild. Little damage, nothing burned, only a girl shot through the neck by a rogue cop, and another cop that had a stroke. They are asking for another Timothy McVeigh type attack.

Its comedy that these hacks think that protest was so bad. They didn't have any coordination, it was just a protest. Watch the blm protests, those were dangerous.

A lot of Republicans in the House will vote for this. McConnell reportedly may decide to let it come to the floor. A lot of moving parts to this and right now I'd say it's uonto about 25-75 he is thrown out of office prior to 1/20.

Step one in "moving on" would be for the defeated president to admit he lost. This, not impeachment, is what has created the division.

I travel around in my area and talk to clients..It inevitably comes up, which is one of the things one should not typically discuss in sales, but still does.

McConnell furious with president, supports move to initiate impeachment proceedings: sources

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell supports Democrats' move to initiate impeachment proceedings against President Trump and is "done" and "furious" with him, sources familiar told Fox News.

One source told Fox News that McConnell has not made up his mind about what to do about impeachment, and does not see this as a partisan exercise like the previous impeachment effort against Trump.

Another source told Fox News that McConnell told associates that impeachment will help rid the Republican Party of Trump and his movement.
