Chadwell isn't prepared for the grind of the SEC. He's never worked in a major conference. He's never recruited at this level. He's done well as the coach of a team that faces one or two challenges a year, but he's never faced an SEC schedule where every conference game is a war. The biggest question, is he gonna want to bring "his guys" or will he hire up? And will experienced guys come work for him? Not like he has a ton of connections as he's never coached, even as an assistant, in a major conference. He'd be a great OC hire, IMO, but I just don't think he's ready for HC. If it happens, hopefully I'm wrong, but I fully expect to be back here in 3 years.

Hurd was ~400 yds away from being the career leader in rushing yards in UT history. Had he stayed he would have been the all time leading rusher in the history of the university. Definitely not a scrub and probably doesn’t get the appreciation he deserves.

(I’m a Gallatin guy and he went to Beech so that’s hard to admit).
He quit on his teammates.

Could someone explain what a "show cause order" is and how it would follow a coach to their next job?
pearl was under a show cause to me would be annnd indefinite period in which burden is on the defendant to prove innocence. indefinite suspension. one would need to prove the cause of said behavior, which of course doesn't mean to lie about it

My favorite game I watched this year was the Coastal-BYU game. Everything is a crapshoot as to who will succeed and who won’t but at least to Chadwell it won’t be just another job. Also, he beat Napier this year - and Georgia State 51-0.
That’s right, Chadwell beat Napier who beat Campbell. So Chadwell is better than Napier and Campbell.

I don't think I've ever put anyone on ignore faster than that Tennessee Stud troll. Would be cool if y'all would too so I didn't just see a bunch of people arguing with themselves lol.
If his goal was to set a record on most ignores ever, he is well on his way. It's just a waste of time arguing with obvious trolls like that.

For that to happen, his defensive linemen must have known how to line up. Inconceivable.

Depending on what the NCAA does to us it may be a great hire. I do think he’s has to hire coaches with SEC ties especially on defense, I’d be fine with him bringing a couple of his guys on offense.
